ORDER

By the Chief, Commercial Wireless Division:

      1.  In this Order, we grant Omnipoint Communications, Inc.'s ("Omnipoint"), motion for an
extension of time.  Omnipoint requests an extension of the December 24, 1997, comment date to
January 7, 1998, in order to allow interested parties additional time to gather and present complete and
full information in this proceeding.  We find that the public interest would be served by allowing
Omnipoint and other interested parties additional time to comment on the issues raised in the above-
captioned matter. 

      2.  Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED, that pursuant to the authority delegated by Section 4(i) of the
Communications Act, as amended, 47 U.S.C.  154(i), authority delegated by Section 0.331 of the
Commission's rules, 47 C.F.R.  0.331, the Motion For An Extension Of Time IS GRANTED. 
Comments are due on or before January 7, 1998.  Reply comments are due on or before January 23,
1998.
