On February 12, 1996, Porter Communications, Inc. (Porter) filed an application to modify Station KNKP407 by adding a Base Station to operate at 158.10 MHz. Pursuant to the Revision of Part 22 and Part 90 of the Commission's Rules to Facilitate Future Development of Paging Systems, which suspended acceptance of paging applications filed after February 8, 1996, the Commercial Wireless Division's Narrowband Branch (Narrowband Branch) returned the above-captioned application to Porter. On April 12, 1996, Porter filed a Petition for Reconsideration (Petition). Subsequently, on May 29, 1996, Porter filed an application to modify its KNKP407 license by adding a Base Station to operate on 158.10 MHz in Marion, Kentucky. This application was granted by Public Notice on August 14, 1996. Thus, Porter's Petition is now moot. 2. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED, that, pursuant to Sections 4(i) and 405 of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended, 47 U.S.C.  154(i) and 405, authority delegated by Section 0.331 of the Commission's rules, 47 C.F.R.  0.331 and pursuant to Section 1.106 of the Commission's rules, 47 C.F.R.  1.106, the Petition for Reconsideration filed by Porter Communications, Inc. on April 12, 1996, IS DISMISSED as moot.
