On December 30, 1994, Carrier Communications Corporation ("Carrier") filed a Petition for Reconsideration of the grant of Skytel Corporation's ("Skytel") application requesting a paging facility for Station KNKK978 on the 931.3135 MHz frequency in Scranton, Pennsylvania. On October 31, 1994, Skytel requested that the Commission dismiss its application. The Commission cancelled Skytel's application by Public Notice, Report No. NCS- 96-08-A, released November 8, 1995. The Commission's cancellation of Skytel's application renders Carrier's Petition for Reconsideration moot. 2. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED that, pursuant to authority delegated by Sections 4 (i) and 309 of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended, 47 U.S.C.  154 (i) and 309, and Section 1.106 of the Commission's Rules, 47 C.F.R.  1.106, the Petition for Reconsideration filed by Carrier on December 30, 1994 IS DISMISSED as moot.
