I would like to express my support for the proposed LPFM service.
Presently the FM broadcast band is full of cookie-cutter,
sound-alike stations that have no real intent in broadcasting 'in
the public interest'. The only real interest being served is the
bank accounts of a lot of greedy broadcast executives.
A LPFM service would provide a true grass-roots voice for a
community. this is lacking on the FM spectrum (with the exeption
of a very few class operations on the first few channel). It would
allow broacasting truly 'In the Public Interest'.
