I am writing to support FM Low Power Stations. You might think
this would not be of use in an urban or suburban area which is "well
served" by existing stations in nearby major cities, but the lack of
ability for "big stations" to serve a small community continues. I
remember a community station (WGBB in Merrick, NY) from my childhood
that in spite of competition from such such powerhouses as WABC in NYC,
maintained a strong loyalty specifically because it could serve the
local community. Low power FM has the potential to do this.
