                  SUSAN H. STEIMAN NAMED CHIEF 
      ADMINISTRATIVE LAW DIVISION, OFFICE OF GENERAL COUNSEL
   
        Susan H. Steiman has been appointed Chief of the Administrative Law Division,
   Office of General Counsel.
   
        Steiman has been with the Office of General Counsel since 1978 and has served
   as the Acting Chief since March, 1997.  Prior to that, she served as Deputy Chief of the
   Division.  
   
        She is a 1976 graduate of the George Washington University Law School,
   where she was a member of the law review.  She lives in Arlington, VA, with her
   husband and two children.
