       PETITIONS FOR RECONSIDERATION OF ACTION IN RULEMAKING PROCEEDING    
                                                                         
Petitions for Reconsideration have been filed in the Commission's rulemaking 
proceedings listed in this Public Notice and published pursuant to 47 CFR Section 1.429(e).  The full
text of these documents are available for viewing and copying in Room CY-A257, 445 12th Street,
S.W., Washington, D.C. or may be purchased from the Commission's copy contractor,  
ITS, Inc.  (202) 857-3800.  Oppositions to these petitions must be filed within 15 days of 
the date of public notice of the petitions in the Federal Register.  See Section 1.4(b)(1) of the 
Commission's rules (47 CFR 1.4(b)(1).  Replies to an opposition must be filed within 10 days

*It should be noted that in Report No. 2325 released April 13, 1999, the Commission listed the
Petition for Clarification filed by Michael K. Kellogg, Counsel for the RBOC/GTE/SNET Payphone before
the established deadline date expired for filing petitions for reconsideration in this docket. Report No.
2325, as it relates to Docket No. 96-128, was superceded by the Public Notice released April 15,
1999, seeking comments on or before May 17, 1999, and reply comments on or before June 1, 1999,
      addressing issues raised in the petition for clarification.
