                REVISED SCHEDULE FOR RELOCATING PUBLIC REFERENCE FACILITIES
                                TO PORTALS


  Please be advised that the schedule for providing public access to various types of files during
the relocation of the FCC's Reference Information Center (RIC) has been revised.  

  Access to broadcast files will be delayed for an additional week, until April 26, 1999. 
Emergency requests for access to broadcast files will be permitted through the duplicating contractor,
International Transcription Services, at (202) 857-3800.

  In addition, the Cable Reference Room located at 2033 M Street, NW, will shut down at the
close of business on Wednesday, April 14, and reopen at the Portals on Monday, April 26.

  We apologize for any inconvenience these changes may cause.
