   FCC PRESS DISTRIBUTION FUNCTION MOVES TO PORTALS ON FRIDAY,
                           NOVEMBER 20 


 Beginning next Friday, November 20, the FCC press distribution function will move from 1919
M St., to the Portals.   The last day press distribution will take place at 1919 will be Thursday,
November  19.

 On the 20th and thereafter distribution will be at  the Portals, 445 12th St., SW, in the OPA
offices on the courtyard level.

 Procedures for obtaining FCC releases will not change.  

 Everyone with email can subscribe to the FCC's Daily Digest listerserver to receive a copy of
the Daily Digest as soon as it is released each day.  There is no charge for this service.  For
directions on how to  subscribe, go to the FCC's homepage (www.fcc.gov) and click on Daily
Digest.  That site also has all past daily digests with hot links to the documents they summarize.  

 Paper copies of all Commission releases are available for a fee from the FCC's duplicating
contractor, ITS, at (202) 857-3800.
