SMALL BUSINESS ADVISORY COMMITTEE CONDUCT ITS 6TH QUARTERLY MEETING The Federal Communications Commission (FCC), Small Business Advisory Committee (SBAC) will convene its 6th quarterly meeting on Wednesday, March 30th, 1994 in Washington, DC. The meeting will be conducted from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm in the FCC Commission Meeting Room, rm. 856, 8th floor, 1919 M Strret, NW, Washington, DC 20554. During this important meeting, the SBAC will receive public comment addressing key issues which include, but are not limited to, General Dockets #90-314 (PCS), OPP #93-253, Implementation of Section 309(j) of the Communications Act, as it relates to competitive bidding (Auctions), Mass Media #91-140 (Radio Rules), #92-51 (Broadcast Capital Formation) and the Implementation of the Cable Televison Consumer Protection and Competition Act of 1992. Adjournment The SBAC was impaneld by the FCC on November 18, 1992 to serve for two years to advise the Commission on how its rules and policies impact small, minority, female, and rural business. The Committee is also reviewing existing Commission rules and policies, as well as new initiatives to assess their policy implications for small, minority, female and rural entrepreneurs.
