July 24, 1998 DAN CONNORS JOINS COMMISSIONER NESS'S OFFICE AS INTERIM LEGAL ADVISOR Dan Connors has been named interim Legal Advisor to Commissioner Susan Ness, replacing Legal Advisor David Siddall. Connors is on temporary detail from the International Bureau, where he has been serving as an attorney advisor in the Satellite Division. He will have primary responsibility for international and wireless issues. Connors joined the FCC in 1997. Before coming to the Commission, he was a corporate attorney in private practice with Graham & James in San Francisco and Tokyo and with O'Sullivan Graev & Karabell in New York City specializing in mergers and acquisitions, project finance and other transactional matters. Prior to practicing law, Connors was a salesman at IBM and a telecommunications analyst at MCI. Connors received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, an M.B.A. from UCLA's Anderson School of Management and his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland. - FCC -
