Friday, March 19

Chairman William E. Kennard will address the Consumer Federation of America, Consumer Assembly "21st Century Public Policy Challenges," 19th Annual Conference, Washington Plaza Hotel, Washington, DC, 9:00 am.

Thomas J. Sugrue, Chief, Wireless Telecommunications Bureau (WTB), will address the Land Mobile Communications Council's Annual Meeting, Grand Hyatt Washington, Washington, DC, noon.

Monday, March 22

Chairman Kennard will address PC (Platforms for Communication) Forum, Scottsdale Princess Hotel, Scottsdale, AZ, 10:30 am.

Tuesday, March 23

The FCC will hold a second public hearing in a series "Overcoming Obstacles to Telephone Service for Indians on Reservations," the Gila River Indian Community, Chandler, AZ, 8:00 am - 12:30 pm.

Wednesday, March 24

Chairman Kennard will give luncheon address at the Variety/Schroder Media Conference, Plaza Hotel, New York, NY, noon.

Commissioner Michael Powell will be luncheon speaker at the United States Telephone Association National Issues Conference, Marriott Metro Center, Washington, DC 11:45 am.

The WRC-2000 Advisory Committee, IWG - 10, "WRC-2000 Matters," will meet at Arter and Hadden, Washington, DC, 10:00 am.

The FCC will sponsor a free seminar for the Local Multipoint Distribution Service (LMDS) auction at the Park Hyatt Washington, 1201 24th Street, NW, Washington, DC, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm.
