  Monday, May 28
  
             The Federal Communications Commission  (FCC) will be closed in observance of
  Memorial Day.
  
  Tuesday, May 29
  
            The FCC's Office of Engineering and Technology is sponsoring a tutorial by Dr. Paul G.
  Steffes, a Professor in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Georgia
  Institute of Technology on Scientific Uses of the Spectrum and Spectrum Policy at the FCC,
  Portals II, Room TW-C305, 445 12th Street, SW, Washington, DC, 10:30 am.
  
          The FCC's Office of Engineering and Technology is sponsoring a tutorial by Dr. Vincent
  Poor, Professor of Electrical Engineering at Princeton University on the Wireless Revolution:
  A Signed Processing Prospective at the FCC, Portals II, Room TW-C305, 445 12th Street,
  SW, Washington, DC, 1:30 pm.

                   The FCC in cooperation with the National Exchange Carrier Association, the
  American Indian Higher Education Consortium,  and with program support from the National
  Indian Telecommunications Institute is hosting the Indian Telecom Training Initiative  2001
  Industry Conference, entitled "Doing Business in Indian Country," at the Radisson Hotel, St.
  Paul, MN.
  
  Tuesday, June 5
  
            Commissioner Harold Furchtgoth-Roth will deliver the evening keynote speech at the
  Wireless and Internet Summit, the Japan Society, New York, NY, 5:30 pm.
  
  Tuesday, June 12
  
            Commissioner Furchtgott-Roth will address the National Cable & Telecommunications
  Association's 50th Annual Convention and International Exposition, at the McCormick Place

            Commissioner Furchtgott-Roth will be luncheon speaker at the 14th Annual Convention
  of the Wireless Communications Association, The World Trade Center, Boston, MA, noon.
  
            Tom Sugrue, Chief, Wireless Telecommunications Bureau will speak at the Wireless
  Communications Association International's Annual Conference, at the Boston World Trade
  Center, Boston, MA, TBA.
  
  Wednesday, June 27
  
           Tom Sugrue, Chief, Wireless Telecommunications Bureau will speak at the National
  Emergency Number Association's Annual Conference and Trade Show, the Marriott World
  Trade Center, Orlando, FL.
  
  Wednesday, July 4
  
             The FCC will be closed in observance of Independence Day.
