       The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) will hold a Public
  Forum for Commission Registration System (CORES), Commission Meeting

       Chairman William E. Kennard will address the 9th All Africa
  Telecommunications and Information Technology Conference (AFCOM

       The FCC will hold an Open Meeting, FCC, Commission Meeting

  speak on an FCC Regulatory Panel at the Association of Public Safety
  Communications Officials   International's 66th Annual Conference and
  Exposition, Hynes Convention Center, Boston, MA, 2:00 pm.
  
  Thursday, August 17
  
       Francisco R. Montero, Director, Office of Communications Business
  Opportunities (OCBO), will participate on a panel, "Regulation and Legal
  Issues", at the National Association of Broadcaster's (NAB) 2nd  Annual  NAB
  Americas Radio and TV Conference, Loews Miami Beach Hotel, Miami, FL,
  10:00 am   11:40 am.  This conference will be held August 15   August 17.

       Deborah Lathen will deliver a keynote address to the Florida Cable
