Both FCC Forms (September 2000 Edition) have been approved for use by the Office of Management and Budget. The new FCC Forms 305 and 306 are effective immediately and will replace the FCC Form 702, Application for Consent to Assignment of Radio Station Construction Authorization or License (for Stations in Services other than Broadcast), and FCC Form 704, Application for Consent to Transfer of Control (under 47 C.F.R. 21, 23 or 25). Since some applicants may be far along in completing FCC Form 702 or FCC Form 704, we will continue to accept applications filed on the FCC Form 702 or FCC Form 704 through September 29, 2000. Thereafter, in the Multipoint Distribution Service, applicants requesting consent to an assignment of license must submit FCC Form 305 and applicants requesting consent to a transfer of control must submit FCC Form 306. The new FCC Forms 305 and 306 are available through the Internet. To retrieve the new forms by using the Internet, access the FCC's home page, http://www.fcc.gov, and click on the Forms link.
