                  ITFS APPLICATIONS ACCEPTED FOR FILING 
          
Notice is hereby given that upon initial review, the applications
listed below are accepted for filing.  The applications that have
been found to be in conflict and that are considered mutually
exclusive are listed under the same group heading.

The Commission will not accept amendments to these applications
that result in improving comparative standing or to establish
eligibility.  The Commission will accept amendments to these
applications that proposes changes that would be considered
essential components of a settlement of a mutually exclusive
group.

Petitions to deny against any of the listed applications may be
filed with the Commission no later than the close of business on  
December 25, 1997.

In the course of processing these applications, the Commission
may request additional information.  The Commission also reserves
the right to take whatever action may be appropriate if upon
further examination it is determined that an application is
defective and not in conformance with the Commission's rules and
policies in Mass Media Docket 83-523(Second Report and Order, 101
FCC 2d 49(1985).
