The Allocations Branch has before it the Notice of Proposed Rule Making in this proceeding. 14 FCC Rcd 7867 (1999). The Notice was issued in response to a Petition for Rule Making filed jointly by Metro Com Corporation, Broadcast Equities Corporation and Tri-County Broadcasting Company ("petitioners"). The Notice proposed the substitution of Channel 236C3 for Channel 252A at Cordele, Georgia, and modification of the Station WKKN license to specify operation on Channel 236C3; the substitution of Channel 280C3 for Channel 236A at Montezuma, Georgia, and modification of the outstanding construction permit (BPH- 970925NH) to specify operation on Channel 280C3; and the substitution of Channel 252C3 for Channel 280C3 at Hawkinsville, Georgia, and modification of the Station WQSY to specify operation on Channel 252C3. In response to the Notice, the petitioners filed Comments and Supplemental Comments. Lacom Communications, Inc. ("Lacom Communications") filed Comments & Counterproposal and a Motion to Strike Supplemental Comments. The petitioners filed an Opposition to Motion to Strike. 2. On September 20, 2000, the petitioners filed a Request for Dismissal. In that Request, the petitioners stated that they have not and will not receive any money or other consideration in exchange for the dismissal of their proposals. 3. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED, That the aforementioned proposal jointly filed by Metro Com Corporation, Broadcast Equities Corporation and Tri-County Broadcasting Company IS HEREBY DISMISSED. 4.
