The Commission has before if for consideration the Notice of Proposed Rule Making, 12 FCC Rcd 3049 (1997), proposing the allotment of Channel 287A to Mukwonago, Wisconsin, as that community's first local broadcast service. The Notice was issued in response to a petition filed by Faith Congregation ("Faith"). Faith filed comments reiterating its intention to apply for Channel 287A at Mukwonago. WTRW, Incorporated and Charles P. Mills also filed comments supporting an allotment at Mukwonago. 2. We believe the public interest would be served by allotting Channel 287A to Mukwonago, Wisconsin, since it will provide the community with its first local broadcast service. As indicated in the Notice, Channel 287A can be allotted to Mukwonago in compliance with the minimum distance separation requirements of the Commission's Rules provided there is site restriction 11.8 kilometers (7.3 miles) west of the community. The site restriction will prevent a conflict with Station WCXT, Channel 287C1, Hart, Michigan, and Station KZSR, Channel 288A, Woodstock, Illinois. 3. Accordingly, pursuant to the authority contained in Sections 4(i), 5(c)(1), 303(g) and (r) and 307(b) of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended, and Sections 0.61, 0.204(b) and 0.283 of the Commission's Rules, IT IS ORDERED, That effective July 21, 1997, the FM Table of Allotments, Section 73.202(b) of the Commission's Rules, IS AMENDED for the community listed below, as follows: Community Channel Number Mukwonago, Wisconsin 287A 4. The window period for filing applications for Channel 287A at Mukwonago, Wisconsin, will open on July 21, 1997, and close on August 21, 1997. 5.
