Petitioner filed  x-comments in support of the proposal reaffirming his intention to apply for the channel, if allotted. No other comments were received.  X-  x2. In the Notice, petitioner was requested to provide sufficient information to demonstrate  x>that Dededo is a "community" for allotment purposes. In response, petitioner submits that  X`- x Dededo is the largest municipality in Guam in terms of area and population. It is the fastest  xgrowing community with a 1996 population in excess of 38,000 persons. Petitioner states that  xDededo has a municipal government office, five commercial banks, five large shopping  xmalls/centers, fast food chains, two large bakeries, auto dealerships, hardware stores, executive  xsubdivisions, DutyFree shops, Naval Computer and Telecommunications Master Station, Navy  xhousing, six gas stations, churches, Northern Public Health Center, four public schools, two private schools, fifty civic organizations/associations, and over 500 mediumsized businesses.   }x3.
