The Commission has before it for consideration the Notice of  r5R4Proposed Rule Making, 10 FCC Rcd 12009 (1995), issued in response to a  r54petition filed by Flambeau Broadcasting Co. ("petitioner"). The Notice proposed the allotment of Channel 260C3 to Cornell, Wisconsin, as that community's first local broadcast service. Petitioner filed comments reaffirming its interest in the allotment of Channel 260C3 at Cornell. No other comments were received. 2. We believe the public interest would be served by allotting Channel 260C3 to Cornell, Wisconsin, as it will provide the community with its first local transmission service. Channel 260C3 can be allotted to Cornell consistent with the minimum distance separation requirements of the Commission's Rules provided there is a site restriction 4.9 kilometers (3  r5&4miles) west of the community.&ֻ ?]4ԍ#d6X@`7@# The coordinates for Channel 260C3 at Cornell are 451056 and 911220. The site restriction will prevent a short spacing to Station WWISFM, Channel 259C3, Black River Falls, Wisconsin, and to the licensed site for Station WIZD, Channel 260A, as well as the construction permit Station WIZD holds for Channel 260C3 at Rudolph, Wisconsin (BPH931229IB). Concurrence has been received from the Canadian government for the allotment of Channel 260C3 at Cornell. 3.
