The Commission has before it a Petition for Reconsideration and Stay of Assignment ("Petition") filed by Jackson Purchase Communications ("Jackson"). It requests reconsideration of the Report and Order ("R&O") in this proceeding, 4 FCC Rcd 8707 (1989), which 1) granted a channel upgrade to a Station WQZQ-FM, Dickson, Tennessee, 2) authorized an equivalent channel substitution for Station WCBL-FM, Benton, Kentucky, to accommodate that upgrade, and 3) allotted to Calvert City Channel 239A (95.7 MHz), instead of Channel 256A (99.1 MHz) as requested by Jackson. It also asks for a stay of the window period announced by the R&O for acceptance of applications to operate on Channel 239A at Calvert City. American Communications, Inc., ("American"), licensee of Station WQZQ(FM), Dickson, Tennessee filed an opposition to Jackson's petition for reconsideration, and Purchase Broadcasting Company, Inc. ("Purchase"), licensee of WCBL-FM, filed a reply. Jackson subsequently filed a request for withdrawal of its Petition. We will grant Jackson's request. 2. IT IS ORDERED That the petition for reconsideration filed by Jackson Purchase Communications IS DISMISSED. 3. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, That this proceeding is TERMINATED. 4.
