       COMMISSION AFFIRMS ACTIONS REGARDING WWGL(FM), LEXINGTON, NC

     The FCC has denied WWMY-FM Broadcasting, Inc.'s petition for
reconsideration of the Commission's action denying its
application for review of the grant of the application for a
construction permit to modify the facilities of Station WWGL(FM),
Lexington, NC.  The Commission also denied reconsideration of the
grant of the application for reinstatement of the expired
construction permit to modify the facilities of WWGL(FM).  WWMY-
FM Broadcasting is the licensee of Station WNEU(FM), Eden, NC.

     The Commission indicated that WWMY's pleadings repeated
contentions made earlier and subsequently rejected, and therefore
WWGL's arguments warrant no further consideration.

     Action by the Commission February 23, 1995, by Memorandum
Opinion and Order (FCC 95-66).   Chairman Hundt, Commissioners
Quello, Barrett, Ness, and Chong.
