Released: December 11, 2001 Charles E Dziedzic To Retire Chuck Dziedzic has announced that he will retire at the end of the year. Chuck began his career with the Commission as an attorney in the Safety and Special Radio Services Bureau in 1971. He joined the Broadcast Bureau's Hearing Division in 1973 where he advanced to the position of Senior Trial Attorney and Reviewer. Chuck became Chief of the Mass Media Bureau's Hearing Branch in 1983 where he was responsible for directing the Broadcast Trial Staff. In that position he was responsible for overseeing the trial of renewal and revocation proceedings as well as the Bureau's participation in all other hearing cases. He also served as Commission Counsel in numerous Formal Investigations. In 1995, he joined the Video Services Division as Assistant Chief. While in Video Services, his responsibilities have included the transition of the MDS/ITFS spectrum from analog to two-way services in a digital environment and 3G use of the spectrum. Chuck and his wife Susan reside in Edgewater, Maryland.
