DORTCH NAMED CHIEF, EEO STAFF MASS MEDIA BUREAU Marlene H. Dortch has been named Chief of the Equal Employment Opportunity Staff in the Commission's Mass Media Bureau. In her new position, Dortch will have primary responsibility for implementation of the Commission's new Broadcast and Cable EEO rules and policies. She has been an attorney-advisor in the Television Branch of the Bureau's Video Services Division since February 1994. In that position, Dortch focused primarily on broadcast transactions and issues related to the Commission's multiple ownership rules. She has also worked on ITFS issues in the Video Services Division. She holds a J.D. degree from The Ohio State University College of Law and an A.B. from Georgetown University. Dortch lives in Maryland with her husband, Llewellyn, a senior sales representative at R.R. Donnelley and Sons. - FCC -
