ROBERT RATCLIFFE NAMED ACTING DEPUTY CHIEF,
Robert Ratcliffe, currently the Senior Legal Advisor in the Mass Media Bureau, has been
named an acting Deputy Chief of the Bureau. |
Ratcliffe began his career at the FCC in 1975 in the former Cable Television Bureau and has held various positions in that Bureau, including Chief of the Policy Review and Development Division. Ratcliffe has worked in the Mass Media Bureau since its creation in 1982, holding positions in the Policy and Rules Division and in the Video Services Division before coming to the Office of the Bureau Chief in 1989. Immediately prior to assuming his current position, Ratcliffe was Assistant Chief for Law of the Mass Media Bureau.
Ratcliffe is a graduate of Trinity College in Hartford, CT, and of the Boston University School of Law; he holds an A.M. degree from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.
