I think it is horrible that my husband and I cannot sit and enjoy 
watching television with our 8 and 6 year old children.  The so 
called "quality" of tv programs is non-existent.  

I would like to see the regulations of the Children's Act of 1990 
strengthened.  There should be AT LEAST one hour a day of real 
educational childrens programming.  There should be a clearer 
definition of what is considered "educational and informational" 
programming.  And the "core" requirements of tv broadcasters 
should exclude the time before 7 am and after 10 pm.(for 
children's programming).

Hopefully my letter to you will help to improve the "quality" of 
television for our children.  Our children are our future!!
