The so called "quality" of tv programs is non-existent. I would like to see the regulations of the Children's Act of 1990 strengthened. There should be AT LEAST one hour a day of real educational childrens programming. There should be a clearer definition of what is considered "educational and informational" programming. And the "core" requirements of tv broadcasters should exclude the time before 7 am and after 10 pm.(for children's programming). Hopefully my letter to you will help to improve the "quality" of television for our children. Our children are our future!! Thank you. Sincerely, Mary Ellen Mitchell
