I also feel that stations should be required to provide at least two full hours of educational shows per day...ten hours per week! I also feel that broadcasters should identify which shows are educational so TV guides can alert parents to those programs. Children are impressionable and if we do not give them a healhty and educational environment in which to learn, they will not learn. There is so much violence and ignorance in our society. These behaviors can be changed if we reach out to our kids NOW!!! I feel it is the FCC's duty to provide an early outreach to our kids. An outreach reeping positive moral teachings and educational rewards.
