Your webpage suggested we write about our 'likes' & 'dislikes', etc. So, here are a few comments... PBS programming is just about all there is for kids on regular TV. :( We enjoy programs like Ghostwriter and Carmen Sandiego. We do watch all of the StarTrek series. Some others that are acceptable are Doogie Houser reruns and Saved by the Bell. I'm constantly having to tell my 10 year old to turn off programs like Baywatch. 90210 is borderline. The worst are adult cartoon shows like the Simpsons. Kids think they should be able to watch them just because of the cartoon format, but the shows are garbage. It does nothing but teach kids about how to behave in an unacceptably crude manner. I think I was most horrified when I saw an advertisement for a late-night (very much) adult movie; It was aired during the Sesame Street morning hour. Why was this horribly innappropriate advertisement shown to little pre-schoolers? :( Thanks for listening. :) Melanie Taylor in MD
