AMRC proposes to offer all services on a non-common carrier basis. Fixed-Satellite Service: Hughes Communications Galaxy, Inc.File No. 63-SAT-AMEND-97 Hughes Communications Galaxy, Inc. (Hughes) has filed an amendment to its proposed Galaxy VIII(I) fixed communications satellite. (See File Nos. 47-DSS- P/LA-P-94; CSS-94-018.) Hughes seeks authority to use 250 MHz of downlink spectrum in the 11.7-11.95 GHz bands and 250 MHz of the downlink spectrum at 11.45-11.7 GHz, currently used by Galaxy III(H) and proposed in the Galaxy VIII(I) application, respectively, for a full 500 MHz of downlink spectrum to ensure sufficient capacity to meet the needs of Galaxy Latin America's customers.
