July 18, 1996 WRC-97 ADVISORY COMMITTEE ANNOUNCES FIRST MEETING OF AD HOC GROUP ON MILLIMETER WAVE ISSUES The Commission's WRC-97 Advisory Committee has formed an Ad Hoc Group on Millimeter Wave Issues to coordinate, discuss, and develop recommended proposals for the 1997 World Radiocommunication Conference on issues relating to international spectrum allocations in frequency bands above 30 GHz. The first meeting of the Ad Hoc Group will be held on Monday, July 22, 1996 at the International Bureau, 2000 M Street, N.W., Room 825 at 1:30 pm. The meeting is open to the public. The minutes and documents of this meeting, as with other WRC-97 Advisory Committee meetings, will be made available for public inspection and photocopying at the FCC's International Reference Center, 2000 M Street, N.W., Room 102, Washington, D.C.
