January 25, 1999 ADAM KRINSKY TO BECOME ACTING SENIOR LEGAL ADVISOR TO THE CHIEF, INTERNATIONAL BUREAU The FCC announced today that Adam Krinsky will be appointed Acting Senior Legal Advisor to the Chief of the International Bureau. Since joining the Commission in February 1997, Krinsky has served as an attorney in the Telecommunications Division of the International Bureau, where he worked on initiatives to promote competition and market access opportunities in the global telecommunications market, including implementation of the World Trade Organization Agreement on Basic Telecommunications Services. He also was responsible for international Internet issues and was involved in several merger proceedings. Prior to joining the Commission, Krinsky was an associate in the telecommunications practice group at Squire, Sanders & Dempsey in Washington, D.C. He received an A.B. from Brown University and a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law. - FCC -
