 THE OFFICE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY'S NEXT TUTORIAL TO
FOCUS ON VOICE AND DATA OVER POWERLINES, IS SCHEDULED FOR MAY 5TH
AT 1 P.M. AT THE PORTALS

The Office of Engineering and Technology will present a tutorial
on "Voice and Data Transmission Over Powerlines" on May 5th in
the Commission Meeting Room, 445 12th Street S. W., Washington,
DC from 1 to 4 p.m.  The presentation will be by Northern
Telecom. Further information on the presenters and the content of
the tutorial will be provided by public notice in April.

Every effort is made to ensure that a wide diversity of
viewpoints (and product manufacturers) are represented at the OET
tutorials.  By sponsoring the tutorial, the FCC is not endorsing
any particular viewpoint or product.  This is the 79th in a
series of tutorials that began in 1980.
