OET TO PRESENT A TUTORIAL ON "OPTICAL TRANSMISSION IN THE NETWORK" FEBRUARY 16 AT THE PORTALS
The Office of Engineering and Technology will present a tutorial on "Optical Transmission in the
Network" on February 16, 1999 in the Commission Meeting Room, at the Portals, 445 12th
Street S.W., Washington, DC.|
The tutorial will be given by engineers from the Corning Corporation. A follow-up public notice will describe the content of this tutorial and the Corning personnel giving it.
Every effort is made to ensure that a wide diversity of viewpoints (and product manufacturers) are represented at the OET tutorials. By sponsoring a tutorial, the FCC is not endorsing any particular viewpoint or product. This is the 78th in a series of tutorials that began in 1980.
The tutorial will be available over RealAudio and on videotape from the FCC contractor, InFocus, at (703) 834-0100. For further information contact Jack Linthicum at (202) 418-2441 (voice), 202-418-1918 (fax) or e-mail JLINTHIC@FCC.GOV.
