The Commission, by its Office of Engineering and Technology, Experimental Licensing Branch,
granted the following experimental applications during the period from 4/1/98 to 4/30/98:
  

   WA2XRH     METAWAVE COMMUNICATIONS CORP. 
    New experimental to operate in 835-849, 880-894, 1850-1910 and 1930-1990 MHz to
    verify performance of a smart antenna system.        
    Fixed:  Redmond (King),  WA

   WA2XQM     LUCENT TECHNOLOGIES           
    New experimental to operate in 24.25-24.45, 25.05-25.25 GHz, LMDS bands, and 40 GHz
    to test fixed wireless local access products.                        
    Fixed:  Multiple sites throughout the  US
