              FCC AMENDS SECTION 63.100
     
          Effective July 13, 1998, the Commission has modified the outage
     reporting requirements in Section 63.100 of the Commission's rules, 47 CFR
     Section 63.100, to provide that subject carriers must send final reports, no later
     than 30 days after a reportable outage, to the Chief, Office of Engineering and
     Technology, Federal Communications Commission, 2000 M Street, NW, Suite
     480, Washington, DC 20554. 
     
     Initial outage reports filed pursuant to Section 63.100 will continue to be sent by
     facsimile to the Commission's Duty Officer whose fax number is (202)418-
     2812, telephone (202)632-6975.
