This action extends the filing deadline for reply comments to the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking ("NPRM") in ET Docket No. 97-214 released by the Commission on October 14, 1997. This is in response to a Request for Extension of Time filed by Leo One USA Corporation ("Leo One"). Leo One claims that due to technical problems a significant number of comments were not available until December 8th and it requests this extension in order to address numerous technical issues which will require further analysis. Specifically, Leo One requests that the closing date for acceptance of reply comments to the NPRM be moved from December 15, 1997 to December 22, 1997. Given the nature of the spectrum sharing issues in this proceeding, we find good cause for extending the reply comment period for one week, i.e., until December 22, 1997. We believe this additional time will permit interested parties to develop reply comments with more thorough analysis of issues raised in the comments. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED, that the Motion for Extension of Time, filed December 12, 1997 by Leo One, IS GRANTED and that the filing deadline for reply comments to the NPRM in ET Docket No. 97-214 is extended to December 22, 1997. 2. This action is taken pursuant to authority found in Sections 4 (i) and 303 of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended, 47 U.S.C. 154 (i) and 303; and pursuant to Sections 0.31 and 0.241 of the Commission's Rules, 47 C.F.R. 0.31 and 0.241.
