          United States Telecom Association Petitions
              Commission To Waive Section 61.49(k)

TRP Submissions Due: June 16, 2000

     On March 20, 2000, United States Telecom Association (USTA), filed a petition for
waiver of Section 61.49(k) of the Commission's Rules to allow the Price Cap Local Exchange
Carriers (LECs) to extend the date for filing their tariff review plans (TRP).  Under Section
61.49(k) the TRP submissions are due to be filed on March 31, 2000.

The Competitive Pricing Division of the Common Carrier Bureau granted USTA's
petition for waiver on March 22, 2000.
