On October 6, 1999, the Commission approved, subject to conditions, the transfer of control of
certain licenses and authorizations from Ameritech Corporation to SBC Communications ("SBC"). 
Pursuant to the Merger Conditions, SBC must establish a reasonably designed, implemented, and self-
enforced compliance program to ensure the company complies with its obligations.  As part of its
compliance program, SBC must file an annual report detailing SBC's compliance activities during the
previous calendar year.  On March 15, 2000, SBC filed its Compliance Report governing the period
October 6, 1999 to December 31, 1999.  The report is available in the Commission's public reading room
and on the Internet at http://www.fcc.gov/mcot.
