     COMMON CARRIER BUREAU NORTH AMERICAN NUMBERING COUNCIL
                         ANNOUNCEMENTS

                     (CC Docket No. 92-237)

     The Common Carrier Bureau has appointed Tejal Mehta, senior staff attorney, Network
Services Division (NSD), to serve as the Designated Federal Officer (DFO) to Federal
Communications Commission's federal advisory committee, the North American Numbering
Council (NANC or Council).  Ms. Mehta replaces Diane Griffin Harmon who served as the DFO
from May 1999 through January 2000.  The Bureau also announced the appointment of Jeannie
Grimes, Senior Paralegal, NSD, as the Alternate DFO (ADFO).

On February 2, 2000, the Common Carrier Bureau accepted the National Association of
Regulatory Utility Commissioners' nomination of Commissioner Thomas J. Dunleavy, of the
New York Public Service Commission, to the Council.  Commissioner Dunleavy replaces
Colorado Public Utilities Commissioner Vincent Majkowski who served on the Council from
July 1997 through January 2000.
