          Ad Hoc Telecommunications Users Coalition's 
              Motion for Extension of Time Denied

     The Ad Hoc Telecommunications Users Coalition (Ad Hoc) filed a motion for extension of time dated
January 13, 2000, requesting that the Commission extend the deadline for submission of reply comments in the
Further Notice of Proposed Rulemaking concerning the prescription of the LEC price cap X-factor.  See Price
Cap Performance Review for Local Exchange Carriers, Access Charge Reform, Further Notice of Proposed
Rulemaking, CC Docket Nos. 94-1 and 96-262, FCC 99-345 (rel. Nov. 15, 1999).  An extension of the initial
reply comment deadline, from January 14, 2000 to January 24, 2000, was granted by the Chief of the
Competitive Pricing Division by order released December 14, 1999.  See Price Cap Performance Review for
Local Exchange Carriers, Access Charge Reform, Order, CC Docket Nos. 94-1 and 96-262, DA 99-2806 (rel.
Dec. 14, 1999).  The Competitive Pricing Division denied Ad Hoc's motion for an additional extension of the
reply comment deadline on January 19, 2000.
