           Asociacion de Proveedores Competitivos de
 Telecomunicaciones, Inc.'s Motion for Extension of Time Denied

     The Asociacion de Proveedores Competitivos de Telecomunicaciones, Inc. (APCT) filed a motion for
extension of time dated December 30, 1999, requesting that the Commission extend the deadline for submission of
comments on Puerto Rico Telephone Company, Inc.'s (PRTC) petition for waiver of section 61.41 or section
54.303(a) of the Commission's rules. See Puerto Rico Telephone Company, Inc. Petitions for Waiver of Parts
61 and 69 of the Commission's Rules, Public Notice, DA 99-2963 (rel. December 21, 1999). On January 4,
2000, PRTC filed an opposition to APCT's motion for extension of time.  The Competitive Pricing Division of the
Common Carrier Bureau denied APCT's motion on January 5, 2000.
