               BELL ATLANTIC FILES REVISIONS TO ITS
                      COST ALLOCATION MANUAL

                      PUBLIC COMMENT INVITED

     On April 7, 1999, the Bell Atlantic Telephone Companies filed revisions to its cost
allocation manual (CAM).  Among other things, these revisions reflect the addition of a new
nonregulated service, Call Center Management and Administration.

     Parties may file comments on Bell Atlantic's CAM revisions no later than May 19, 1999. 
Replies should be filed by  June 3, 1999.  Comments should reference file number 
ASD 99-26.   A copy of each pleading should be sent to Debbie Weber, FCC Common Carrier
Bureau, 445 12th Street, S.W., Room 6 C-124, Washington, D.C.  20554 and the International
Transcription Service (ITS), 1231 20th Street, N.W., Washington, D.C.  20036.  Copies are
