REQUEST BY AMERITECH FOR LIMITED MODIFICATION OF CERTAIN LATA
BOUND                       ARIES IN WISCONSIN

                                   On September 29, 1997, Ameritech re-petitioned the Commission to modify its LATA boundary to
provide two-way, message rate service between various exchanges in Wisconsin.  According to
Ameritech, the petition involves ten customers whose residences straddle the boundary between
Wisconsin's Southeast LATA (LATA # 356) and Southwest LATA (LATA # 354).  Three exchanges
are involved: Milton, Delavan, and Richmond.  

Interested parties may file comments concerning this matter on or before November 21, 1997 and
reply comments on or before December 5, 1997.  All filings must reference File No. NSD-L-97-34
and should be sent to William F. Caton, Acting Secretary, Federal Communications Commission,
