              PETITION FILED BY MICROSCOPE ASSOCIATES, INC. 

        On September 18, 1997, the Commission issued a Public Notice, DA 97-2002, File No.
CCB/CPD 97-51, regarding a petition filed by Microscope Associates, Inc.  The Public Notice
inadvertently referred to the filing as a Petition for Rulemaking.  The petition will be treated as a Petition
for Declaratory Ruling pursuant to section 1.2 of the Commission's Rules, 47 C.F.R.  1.2.

        This errata does not modify the pleading cycle established in the Public Notice.  Therefore,
comments must be filed on or before October 20, 1997, and reply comments must be filed on or before
November 4, 1997.
