Washington, D.C. 20554 DA 97-1130 SWBT WITHDRAWS COMPARABLY EFFICIENT INTERCONNECTION PLAN FOR INTERACTIVE CALL MANAGER SERVICE CC DOCKET NOS. 85-229, 90-623 and 95-20 May 29, 1997 On August 15, 1996, Southwestern Bell Telephone Company (SWBT) filed a Comparably Efficient Interconnection (CEI) plan for Interactive Call Manager (ICM) Service. The proposed ICM Service was intended to allow subscribers to record, modify, and delete announcements and to allow end users to listen to recorded announcements, respond to voice prompts, and be routed to alternate numbers for completion of the call. On May 8, 1997, SWBT submitted to the Secretary, Federal Communications Commission, a letter withdrawing its proposed CEI plan for ICM Service.
