(BellSouth Interactive) and other enhanced service providers (ESPs). BellSouth states that the Commission on February 8, 1995, authorized it to conduct an 18-month trial of video dialtone service (VDT) in Chamblee, Georgia, and adjacent communities in Dekalb County, Georgia. BellSouth states that after completion of planned testing and expiration of the waiting period for this market trial notification, BellSouth Interactive will conduct the market trial of enhanced video and information service as an ESP in BellSouth's VDT trial. BellSouth states that BellSouth Interactive will engage in the packaging, pricing, and selection of video programming and will also provide enhanced video and information gateway and storage services. BellSouth states that it will provide basic network services for the trial using the facilities and equipment authorized for its VDT trial. BellSouth states that the basic network services will be available to BellSouth Interactive and other ESPs on the same terms and conditions. BellSouth states that it will comply with the requirements of BOC Notices of Compliance with CEI Waiver Requirements for Market Trails of Enhanced Services, 4 FCC Rcd 1266 (1989). BellSouth further states that the market trial will be limited to no more than 12,000 homes and no more than 18 months, as specifically authorized by the Commission.
