                              ORDER

By the Commission:   

     1.   The Commission has under consideration the above-captioned requests for review
of decisions issued by the Schools and Libraries Division of the Universal Service
Administrative Company (USAC or Administrator). These requests seek review of the
Administrator's denial of requests, made pursuant to section 254 of the Communications Act, for
discounted services under the schools and libraries universal service support mechanism.  

     2.   The Commission's rules generally provide that the Commission must issue a
written decision in response to a request for review of an Administrator decision that involves
novel questions of fact, law or policy within ninety days unless the time period is extended.
If the request for review does not involve novel questions of fact, law, or policy, the
Commission's rules provide that the Common Carrier Bureau (Bureau) should consider the
request for review and the Administrator's decision will be deemed approved unless the Bureau
issues a decision within ninety days or extends the time period for considering the request for
review within ninety days.    Due to the large number of requests for review pending before the
Commission with deadlines in August and September, the Commission and the Bureau require
additional time to review the issues presented in the above-captioned requests for review. 
Accordingly, we extend by sixty days the deadlines by which the Commission or the Bureau
must take action regarding each of the above-captioned requests for review.
     3.   Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED that, pursuant to section 54.724 of the
Commission's rules, 47 C.F.R.  54.724, the time period for taking action in the above-captioned
requests for review, IS EXTENDED BY sixty days from the original ninety day deadline
associated with each of the requests for review.
