Before the Federal Communications Commission Washington, D.C. 20554 In the Matter of Federal-State Joint Board on Universal Service Forward-Looking Mechanism For High Cost Support for Non-Rural LECs ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) CC Docket No. 96-45 CC Docket No. 97-160 ERRATA Adopted: December 21, 1999 Released: December 22, 1999 By the Chief, Accounting Policy Division: On November 2, 1999, the Federal Communications Commission released the Inputs Order. Due to a typographical error, two regression equations in Appendix C of that Order contained an incorrect coefficient value of 1,080,000, rather than 10,800,000. The correct coefficient was used in calculating the switching cost input values, however, so the corrections below have no effect on and do not change the input values adopted in the Inputs Order. These errata amend the Inputs Order as follows: · Amend the second equation on page C-2 to read as follows: "Cost = 11,110 + 10.32*Lines - 402,400*Host + 2,205,000*(1/Time) + 1,121*Lines*(1/Time) + 10,800,000*Host*(1/Time)". · Amend the last equation on page C-2 to read as follows: "Host fixed cost = (1.01)*(1.013)*(11,110 402,400 + 2,205,000*(1/15) + 10,800,000*(1/15)) = 486,700".
