MCI filed its  xAnswer on September 15, 1997, in which it denied the allegations contained in the Complaint.  xThe parties thereafter entered into negotiations in an effort to settle the matters in controversy.  xOn July 10, 1998, the parties filed a Joint Motion advising the Commission that they had reached  x-a mutually satisfactory settlement, and requested that the Complaint be dismissed with prejudice.
