Pursuant to section 1.46 of the Commission's rules, 47 C.F.R. 1.46, LCI International Telecom Corp. (LCI) has moved for a five-day extension of the July 25, 1997, date for filing reply comments in the above-captioned proceeding. See LCI Motion for Extension of Time (filed July 15, 1997). LCI maintains that the extension is necessary for the parties to attend the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC) conference, scheduled for the same week reply comments are due, and for parties to report on and evaluate in their reply comments any policy resolutions on operations support systems (OSS) that may emerge from that conference. Because we find that such information may benefit the Commission's deliberations in the above-captioned proceeding, and because LCI has timely moved for an extension under section 1.46, we hereby grant LCI's motion for a five-day extension. 2. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED THAT reply comments in this proceeding shall be due no later than July 30, 1997. FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION ________________________ Richard K.
